Product and Industrial Software

NexXora’s software-development work covers device-side and machine-facing applications, with testing and ongoing maintenance available as agreed. The focus is the software layer connected to engineered hardware. A client should be able to identify the application, the equipment it works with and the information exchanged between them. Broader enterprise software, cloud transformation and business IT services belong to NexXora’s parent-company offering.

What you can commission

Equipment applications and interfaces. Work includes operator interfaces, device configuration utilities and applications that consume equipment data. Define user roles, permitted actions and the system state shown on screen. An interface should explain the difference between a requested action and a confirmed device response.

Integration and APIs. Connect the application to device protocols, gateways or operational systems through defined interfaces. Specify data formats, error responses and version compatibility. For intermittent connections, agree what can work offline and how information is reconciled when communication returns.

Testing and maintainability. Plan functional, integration and regression tests around the product workflow. Capture logs and diagnostic information that make field issues reproducible. Maintenance scope should identify supported environments, update responsibilities and how hardware or API changes are handled.

Application examples

Instrument manufacturer. Build a configuration and measurement application for a device, including validation of settings and export of test results.

Production equipment. Develop an operator dashboard or engineering utility that connects machine information to the workflow used by manufacturing and support teams.

Engineering handover

Agree the source repository, build and deployment instructions, interface documentation, test evidence and operational notes. If third-party libraries or services are involved, record their dependencies and licensing obligations. The handover should let the receiving team understand how the application connects to the hardware and how to diagnose expected failures.

Start with the right inputs

Provide the user workflow, target operating systems, equipment interfaces, sample data and any existing application. Define access controls and the actions that must be restricted. Clarify performance expectations, availability needs and support ownership before selecting a software architecture.
