Building applications need a clear distinction between controlling an air conditioner, evaluating an energy-saving retrofit and monitoring equipment. Offline AC interaction

Smart Sync provides offline voice control for air conditioners. A facilities evaluation must confirm compatible AC models, supported commands and installation requirements. Central management across rooms or sites is an additional capability to verify.

Retrofit evaluation

Consider AC Energy Saver only after reviewing the air-conditioning installation and environmental conditions. Establish a measurement baseline, water and maintenance requirements, and the method for comparing results. Compare the measurements under equivalent operating conditions.

Equipment visibility

Scope monitoring of temperatures, operating status or selected energy measurements through an IoT architecture. Define the operational response to an alarm and separate a reported measurement from an inferred equipment fault.

Engineering handover

A scoped handover can include compatibility information, device configuration, telemetry definitions, dashboards and evaluation records. Product documentation must define installation and maintenance. Keep power-factor correction separate from AC comfort control and evaporative cooling.
