Engineering workflow automation moves or checks the information used in product development and manufacturing — released BOM data, test records, inspection reports. Where such a workflow depends on an existing user interface, NexXora builds the software bots (RPA), integrates them with the engineering and manufacturing systems already in use, and trains the people who run them. RPA means robotic process automation in software; it does not mean programming an industrial robot. Engineering information workflows. Tasks include transferring released BOM information, preparing release reports and collecting test records. Define the source of truth and the checks required before data moves. An automation should not silently turn an incomplete engineering record into a released production instruction.
System integration and bot selection. Use supported APIs or file interfaces where they fit the systems involved. Consider an RPA bot when the required workflow depends on an existing user interface. Document permissions, dependencies and what happens when the source screen or data format changes.
Exceptions and operator control. Make failures visible and route exceptions to the right person. Design review checkpoints for tasks that require an engineering decision. Training should explain how to run, monitor and recover the workflow, rather than assuming a bot can operate indefinitely without ownership.
Manufacturing reporting. Collect selected production and inspection records into a consistent review package, with missing or inconsistent information identified.
Engineering release coordination. Transfer released part or BOM data between engineering and operational systems using a controlled, traceable workflow.
Agree the workflow map, integration or bot configuration, access requirements, exception rules, test evidence and operating instructions. If an ERP connection is involved, scope the engineering data exchange here; broader enterprise-platform work sits outside this service.
Provide the current workflow, systems involved, example inputs and outputs, acceptance points and common exceptions. Identify the process owner and support team. The first design decision is what should be automated and what should remain a human review.
